Le Louxor is a three-screen cinema at 170 boulevard de Magenta in the 10th arrondissement. The cinema describes itself as a first-run house that opens new films on their national release, and its programme also includes school screenings, ciné-clubs devoted to classic films, themed film cycles and events for young audiences. It shows both French and foreign films, and marks original-version sessions VOST; that label does not by itself mean English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
The three rooms have 334, 136 and 71 seats. Le Louxor says all three rooms, the bar and the lounge are accessible to people with reduced mobility, with a lift to the upper floors; in the Youssef Chahine room only the stalls are accessible. All three rooms have induction loops for hearing-aid users, and some sessions carry subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers. The accessibility page has the details. A bar with a terrace is on the third floor.
For public transport, Le Louxor lists Barbès-Rochechouart metro station, on lines 2 and 4, right at the cinema, buses 31, 54 and 56 at Barbès-Rochechouart, and several more bus lines at Gare du Nord, about six minutes' walk away. It also names bike racks on boulevard de Magenta, rue Ambroise-Paré and rue du Faubourg-Poissonnière. The directions page has the full list.
