UGC Gobelins is a UGC cinema at 66 bis avenue des Gobelins in the 13th arrondissement. Alongside current releases, UGC's page for the cinema lists previews (avant-premières), family screenings, special screenings and its UGC Docs and UGC Culte selections. UGC marks its sessions VF or VOSTF, and a VOSTF label does not by itself mean English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
For getting there, UGC lists the Place d'Italie and Gobelins metro stations, buses at Place d'Italie (Mairie du 13ème), and the Vélib' stations Le Brun-Gobelins and Place d'Italie-Soeur Rosalie, with bike racks opposite the cinema. The entrance is on the even-numbered side of avenue des Gobelins. Under the Vigipirate security plan, suitcases, large bags, electric scooters and pushchairs are not allowed inside.
UGC says only some rooms can be reached by lift by people with reduced mobility. Audio description boxes are available on request at the reception desk for the films UGC lists with it. The cinema also works with GRETA, a free phone and tablet app offering audio description, sound amplification and subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers on the films UGC names.
