UGC Ciné Cité Paris 19 is a UGC cinema at 166 boulevard Macdonald in the 19th arrondissement. Alongside current releases, UGC's page for the cinema lists previews (avant-premières), special screenings, family screenings and its UGC Culte selection. UGC marks its sessions VF or VOSTF, and a VOSTF label does not by itself mean English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
For public transport, UGC lists Corentin Cariou and Porte de la Villette on metro line 7, Rosa Parks on RER E and tram T3b, and buses 35, 54, 60 and 239 at Porte d'Aubervilliers. It names the Vélib' stations Square Claude Bernard and Césaria Evora, with bike racks around the cinema, and the Indigo Le Parks car park at 157 boulevard Macdonald. Under the Vigipirate security plan, suitcases, large bags and pushchairs are not allowed inside.
UGC says sound amplification boxes for hard-of-hearing viewers are available from staff at every session, and FIDELIO boxes for audio description on the films it lists with it. Some sessions are marked VFstF, which UGC describes as the French version with French subtitles for hard-of-hearing viewers, open to everyone. The cinema also works with GRETA, a free phone and tablet app offering audio description, sound amplification and subtitles on the films UGC names.
