Saint-André des Arts is an independent art-house cinema in the Latin Quarter, founded in 1971 by Roger Diamantis. The cinema says it holds the "Art et Essai" and "Europa Cinema" labels. Its programme includes recent art-house releases, with film cycles, festivals, ciné-club evenings and screenings followed by discussions alongside them.
The three rooms are at two addresses. Salle 1 (172 seats) and Salle 2 (147 seats) are at 30 rue Saint-André des Arts, while Salle 3 (182 seats) is at 12 rue Gît-le-Cœur. The cinema lists Salle 3 as its room for visitors with reduced mobility: it is reached by a stair-lift, which cannot take electric wheelchairs, and the cinema asks anyone with questions or needing help to contact it before their visit. The addresses and access details are on the cinema's About page.
Saint-André's own programme includes many French films and films in other languages. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
