Le Champo is an independent cinema at the corner of rue des Écoles and rue Champollion. Its programme is particularly useful for catching older films on the big screen: retrospectives, reissues and themed cycles sit alongside new releases and special events. The cinema opened in 1938, and its two auditoriums have their own visual character: blue ceiling lighting in Salle 1 and a starry ceiling in Salle 2.
For the journey, the cinema lists Cluny–La Sorbonne, Odéon and Saint-Michel among its nearby Métro options. See its location page to plan your route.
If you need access for reduced mobility, check the auditorium before booking: the cinema lists this provision for Salle 1. Hearing loops are listed in both rooms. The room details are useful when choosing a screening.
