Club de l'Étoile is a single-room cinema on Rue Troyon in the 17th arrondissement, which it places close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées. The cinema says the room was built in the 1920s as an Italian-style theatre for film, and was later an arthouse cinema and then a private screening room for film professionals. Much of its work today is private events, and since 2015 it has also run a public programme. It describes itself as a cooperative cinema whose employees are its partners.
The public programme is built around events: cult films, pop culture, previews, opera and concerts, usually with extras such as talks, podcasts or games and invited guests. When the cinema shows a film in "version originale sous-titrée", that label does not by itself mean English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
The room has 153 seats, 126 in the stalls and 27 in a balcony, with a 7-metre screen and both digital and 35mm projection. For transport, the cinema lists Charles de Gaulle Étoile (lines A, 1, 2 and 6), and the Indigo Wagram and Mac Mahon car parks. It says it can welcome visitors with sight or hearing loss but cannot accommodate people with reduced mobility because of the building's layout. Its access page has the details.
