The Sept Parnassiens, written 7 Parnassiens by its operator, is a seven-screen cinema on boulevard du Montparnasse in the 14th arrondissement, with a second entrance on rue Delambre. It is run by Multiciné, which also runs the 5 Caumartin and the Elysées Lincoln. Its programme centres on recent releases, and its events include film clubs, among them one on contemporary American cinema and one on heritage films, debates with directors, festivals and Ciné Relax screenings, which are designed to welcome people whose disability keeps them away from cinemas.
Multiciné says the seven rooms have been fully renovated, the largest with 245 seats. Room 2 has ten wheelchair places, and the step-free entrance is at 16 rue Delambre. Room 2 also offers audio description through the AudioEverywhere system, with smartphones and headphones on loan, and in every room the La Bavarde app on your own iPhone provides it for films in its catalogue. For getting there, Multiciné lists Gare Montparnasse and the Montparnasse, Notre-Dame des Champs, Vavin and Edgar Quinet metro stations. The practical information page has the accessibility details.
On Multiciné's site, films are marked VOST or VF. Neither label by itself means English audio. Our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
